first, draw the head. use a circle with the line thing turned off.
then make another layer and draw all the limbs on there.
make shape tweens and put shape hints in the right places. (add shape hint: Ctrl+Shift+H, show/hide shape hints: Ctrl+Alt+H)
put A on one hand and B on the other hand. on the next keyframe of the shape tween reverse everything (group it twice then put the pivot point where the body is, reverse it, and break apart twice) and put A and B on the opposite sides, where the hands would now be. do the same with shape hints C and D for the feet and then E and F for the body, remember don't reverse the shape hints for the body.
Actually, on second thought, it would probably be better to put the different body parts on different layers.
Copy the frames into a movie clip and save it as "SPIN" or something like that.
Now make another movie clip called "SPINBLUR" and put the spin movie clip on one layer. Put it on the layer underneath, too but on a different frame. In the properties bar, select colour>alpha and turn it down a little, depending on how many motion blurs you want. on the next layer, put in another frame and turn the alpha even lower.
on the last frame, put in the simple actionscript:
stop()
and put the symbol onto the stage. export the movie. Yay! |
